BRADENTON, FL – Liberty Ammunition receives “thank you” notes for making great ammo.

Last week, we received one from a contractor providing executive protection services overseas. We titled that “Tango Down.”

This week we received a thank you note from a Grandfather (ex-First Responder) who was protecting his family.

We call this one “Dude picked the wrong house”.

He and his wife were asleep peacefully in their rural home. They were awakened by someone trying to break in through the French doors that lead from the bedroom to the rear deck. When the doors would not budge, the intruder elected to shoot out the glass to gain entry.

Unfortunately for the bad guy, the First Responder keeps a Sig P365 loaded with Liberty ammunition next to his bed.

He leveled his weapon, fired through the tempered glass doors, and ended the situation.

Here is his letter:

“I would first like to say thank you. My testimony is from an actual incident that occurred early Sunday morning. To make a long story short. We had an attempted break in with guns shots. My wife and I woke up to the assailant firing 3 rounds into our French doors trying to make entry. (Which is in our master bedroom). Waking us up from a dead sleep to this I returned fire striking him 4 times and making him retreat. (9mm). The assailant only made it to the side yard before collapsing where the Sheriffs found him. I would like to say the ammo performed at perfect level passing through tempered glass to its target. Thank you again for making a great product which we feel saved our lives. Keep it up.”
