Our Civil Trainer round is designed to replicate our Civil Defense rounds in felt recoil and shot placement. What this means for the shooter is that the Civil Trainer will be lightweight with a very light recoil while providing consistent gun function. This is the perfect range ammo if you are looking to emulate our Civil Defense ammunition. The projectile is a composite frangible and lead-free round nose. This makes the Civil Trainer ideal for steel target training at close ranges.

What’s bullet weight diff between +p and ultra light +p?

Not grains the grains same.

Total grain weight is 92gr for Ultra Light vs 120gr for Civil Defense (two random bullets pulled from boxes and weighed).

As a comparison, the new Federal self-defense round (“Punch”) is 190 grains.

Thats more than 2x the weight of Ultra-Light and 158% the weight of Civil Defense.

If the SAR is designed to these standards as well, then you should be fine.

I’m stuck for words…. Unbelievable is an understatement. Less recoil out of Glock Gen 5 and the speed is noticable, especially at 25m. Of course I brought multiple milk jugs filled with Kool aid. Standard hollow points they shot put hole in and larger hole out. Liberty Civil Defense blew the jugs like a grenade!!! Needless to say they are all believers now!!! Expect many orders to GA.
