The Animal Instinct 300 Blackout is one hell of a hunting round. We took our Civil Defense projectile design and toughened it up a bit. We thickened up the base to increase penetration. A trait that’s sought after when hunting larger animals. We spin every Animal Instinct 300 Blackout round on a lathe to keep them consistently shooting accurately up to 300 yards. We designed the projectiles to drop animals on the spot, to prevent you from having to chase them for miles. Thanks to our lighter design there is also much less recoil. This hunting round will not disappoint.

Recoil usually doesn’t bother me much, but 160 grain bullets out of my Kahr PM40 were just uncomfortable. This ammo makes the little gun fun to shoot. I won’t go back. Accurate with excellent performance.

Hunting with the .300 Blackout Animal instinct

I’ve been using the Animal Instinct on a bunch of deer and hog hunts now. These absolutely do not disappoint, and in fact these rounds have turned the heads of some seriously experienced hunters in my family. Out of 6 deer and 1 hog I have yet to have an animal go more than 10 yards.

We Did This By Creating The Maximum Amount Of Damage And Tissue Disruption Possible. They Do Well Against Barriers, But When The Large Cavity Fills With Fluid, The Hydraulic Pressure Builds Until The Side Walls Of The Projectile Explode. With That Explosion Comes Rifle Sized Temporary Cavities And Hydrostatic Shock, Therefore Increasing Stopping Power By Tenfold. Following The Explosion, The Bullet Fragments Into A Starburst Shaped Pattern Creating Multiple Wound Channels.
