FOR CALIBERS .223, 5.56, .308, 7.61×51, 7.62×39, .270, .243, 30-30, 30-06, 12 gauge, and 20 gauge ammunition, there is no need for a FOID card because there is no doubt that these products were designed for use in rifles or shotguns and New Jersey provides an exception for these uses.
