Please note that Liberty Ammunition’s blemished ammunition may exhibit minor cosmetic imperfections resulting from standard manufacturing processes. These imperfections, while purely cosmetic, do not impact functionality. However, slight performance variations from standard spec ammunition may occur. To differentiate these rounds from our regular ammunition, their headstamps are colored red.

This is the first time I’ve tested it with my 40s with a 4.5-inch BBL. It shoots pretty nicely like a rifle. I wish for 90grs. It would be better.

Thanks David,
If we went with a heavier bullet, pressures would rise and/or we would need to slow it down.
At 2000 fps we are hitting with 533 ft/lbs of energy…..which is more than the Hornady 45 ACP Flexlock.
Our .40 is the best in the market and we appreciate you carrying it.
357 Sig Liberty round is the ultimate pistol cartridge. Puts recoil back in the hand, reducing muzzle flip, with extreme speed and power behind a bullit that doesn’t overpenetrate Hats off to

Thanks David,
Our .357 Sig is the best .357 on the market.
We appreciate your kind words.
I couldn’t believe how much lighter my mags were using this ammo. I was loading mags and picked up a couple to load, only to find out they were already full! Since I carry daily, the weight savings matter!
Response from Liberty Ammunition
Hi Rob,
Not only lighter but hits harder than any other 9mm!
The ammo has light recoil since it is only 50g, my understanding is it has supreme stopping power. My other choice was the Hornady Duty, JHP, 135 grain +P, – heavier round but superior stopping power as well. Thoughts from others?
Response from Liberty Ammunition
Steve,
What most people don’t realize is that velocity is the prime contributor to stopping power.
Hornady 135 gr has the least stopping power of almost all 9mm.
Liberty OverWatch hits 54% harder than Hornady 135 gr (473 ft lbs vs Hornady – 306 ft lbs).
Hornady is heavier to carry, doesn’t hit as hard, has higher recoil and does not create a permanent wound channel from hydrostatic shock.
Our Projectiles Function Differently Than Any Other Self-Defense Round On The Market. We Designed The Civil Defense Line To Eliminate Threats With One Round. We Did This By Creating The Maximum Amount Of Damage And Tissue Disruption Possible. They Do Well Against Barriers, But When The Large Cavity Fills With Fluid, The Hydraulic Pressure Builds Until The Side Walls Of The Projectile Explode. With That Explosion Comes Rifle Sized Temporary Cavities And Hydrostatic Shock, Therefore Increasing Stopping Power By Tenfold. Following The Explosion, The Bullet Fragments Into A Starburst Shaped Pattern Creating Multiple Wound Channels.
